First German to bid 14' - 8,000 peaks

Born in 1961 in Buhl, Black Forest in Germany, he has always had the passion for mountaineering sports from his early days of career. Currently Ralf is a professional mountain guide who runs a very successful adventure company by the name of Amical Alpine, which organizes world class expedition and adventures trips all over the world.

The majesty and the mystique of the might Himalayas have always had a special place in the hearts of the people of Nepal and Ralf is no stranger to that. He has been coming to Nepal since last 20 years and has contributed a great deal in the mountaineering sector and also tourism as a whole. His first expedition was on 1988 to Makalu. Since then, he has organized over 40 expeditions in the Himalayas and Karakorum and the Andes, Alaska and in the Antarctica.
