    • Day 01

      Arrive Paro

      Meals: BLD
      Today arrive Paro airport , after clearance with the immigration and Custom, you will be met by our office guide and will transfer to your hotel. If time permits we will also visit National Museum and Paro Dzong.

    • Day 02

      Acclimatizing Taktsang Hike

      Meals: BLD
      After breakfast hike to Tiger Nest. Lunch at Taktsang cafeteria. Afternoon visit Drugyel Dzong and Kitchu Monastery.

    • Day 03

      Trek starts Drugyel Dzong to Jele Dzong

      Accommodation: Camping
      This is a short trekking day and the trail is uphill through conifer forests. The view of the Paro Valley from the camp is absolutely breathtaking. Maximum altitude during the hike is Jele La at 3560m.
      Distance: 10 km.
      Trek time: 4-5 hours.
      Ascent: 1090m.
      Altitude of camp: 3480m

      Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha

      Accommodation: Camping
      Gradual climbs and a few steep climbs take you through thick alpine forests and rhododendron bushes. You will see yaks and yak herders around the camp today.
      Distance: 10 km.
      Trek time: 3-4 hours.
      Ascent: 310m
      Descent: 50m.
      Altitude of camp: 3780m.

      Jangchulakha to Jimilangtsho

      The trail follows the ridge and on a clear day one will be surrounded by beautiful mountains and river valleys. The camp site is near the Lake Jimilangtsho known for their giant sized trouts.
      Distance: 11 km.
      Trek time: 4-5 hours.
      Ascent: 330m.
      Descent: 230m
      Altitude of camp: 3880m.

      Jimilangtsho to Simkota

      Accommodation: Camping
      The trail takes you through dwarf rhododendron bushes and the lake. You will be able to observe the nomadic life of the yak herders on the way today. The camp is beside the Simkota lake.
      Distance: 11 km.
      Trek time: 4–5 hours.
      Ascent: 820m.
      Descent: 400m.
      Altitude of camp: 4110m.

      Simkota to Phadjoding

      The trek begins with a gradual climb eventually reaching 4210m at Labana La. In clear weather you will be able to see the spectacular view of Mt. Gangkar Phuensum, the highest mountain in the country and her sister mountains. Descend down to the family of Monasteries at Phadjoding which serves as the View point of the Thimphu valley.
      Distance: 10 km.
      Trek time: 3-4 hours.
      Ascent: 130m.
      Descent: 680m.
      Altitude of camp: 3750m.

      Phadjoding to Thimpu

      The trail leads downhill till your meeting with the transportation bus which will take you to your hotel. You should be able to get to your hotel before lunch. Rest of the day at leisure.

      Thimpu Sightseeing

      Meals: BLD
      After breakfast drive to Thimphu for some sightseeing. Some sights may be closed at festival time in which case your guide will suggest an alternative plan. You can visit the National Memorial Chorten, the National Library, the School of Painting or the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon you can take in more of the sights and culture of the capital, or take a drive out of town to view Simtokha Dzong (one of the oldest in Bhutan, dating from 629 AD). If you prefer to stay closer to town you can browse the striking collection of intricate textiles at the National Textile Museum, or drive up to the Radio Tower (offering splendid views of the city from a hilltop festooned with prayer flags) and visit the Takin Reserve showcasing the unique national animal, the Takin.
